About Us

  During the early pioneer days, when covered wagons headed west to settle, families were graciously welcomed upon arrival by their neighbors. Lending a helping hand, sharing knowledge of their community and bringing baskets of food served as genuine goodwill offerings.          

Today, the tradition continues. Neighbors may still bring baked goodies, offer assistance, wave, and chat over the fence. But with hurried lives, and in our larger communities, little time is often available to share necessary information when it is needed most.

Homestead Welcome Service, LLC, an independently owned and operated business, was designed to fulfill this need to our newest residents.

Formed in 2006, and with a combined staff experience of 32+ years in customer service, public relations, education, and community service work, Homestead’s mission is to introduce new residents to the community and area businesses by offering the surveyed results of what is most needed and welcomed when establishing a new residence.

In addition, Homestead’s mission is to provide a sponsorship opportunity for any business to welcome new residents by providing information, invitations, and incentives to visit or contact them both in their neighborhoods and citywide. Exploration in and around one’s immediate surroundings is inevitable and can be a very enjoyable experience!

Homesteads’ intent is to open doors to the community and to retain the Midwest spirit of friendliness and sincerity with invitations to join in every part of our community.
